Season 7 general info

Public·99 members

Hi guys! If I post this form here so that those of you who want to do one of the performance teams next season can express your interest, would it work? Would you do it? We don't know! Everything is the same for except the addition of the pre-competitive group. If there is something about the teams (ages groups, days,, whatever) that would keep you from participating but you really want to, there is a place for you to talk about that and I am absolutely willing to consider adding something to accommodate as many as possible.

Cloud Nine Aerial Art Season 8 Performance Teams
This form is for students and families who are interested in joining one of our performance teams for next season. If you are unsure if there is a team for your age and level, there is a section for you too! We are initially modeling Season 7 after Season 8 but do understand that it is very likely that we will need to add another team. Performance/Competition teams are for students who want increased commitment to aerial, are interested in performing locally and want to compete in Season 8. This season runs August 19 through June 10th and will include our Christmas and Anniversary shows as well as multiple performance opportunities locally. Competitions will be determined by team placement. Team students receive discounted private lessons, priority registration for classes, and invitations to special events throughout the year. Current Teams (I challenge the council of students to come up with names that are more fun) Team 1 - This team is for students of all ages who are planning to compete in at least two upper intermediate through advanced apparatuses this season. Students must display good character and a (generally) positive attitude. Required classes for this team are Mondays 6:30-8:30 and at least two additional classes per week. A bar class is highly recommended but not required. This team will also have mandatory Saturday classes during the season and is expected to perform at community events representing Cloud Nine. Team 2 - This team is for students age 13+ (negotiable) who are planning to compete in at least one intermediate apparatus this season. Students must meet all of the requirements for level 1 silks in order to participate in this team. Required classes are Wednesdays 6:00-7:30, and at least one additional class per week. A non-silks class is highly recommended. Team 3 - This team is for students age 13 (negotiable) and below who are planning to compete in at least one novice or intermediate apparatus this season. Students must meet all of the requirements for level 1 silks in order to participate in this team. Required classes are Mondays 5:15-6:45 and at least one additional elective class. A non-silks class is highly recommended. Team 4 - Pre-Competitive - This team is for students ages 8 and under who might be unsure about competing but do want to learn at least one solo to perform this year either in a competition, showcase, or community event. Students may be beginner or level 1. Required classes for this team are the PreCompetitive class, Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:30 and at least one additional class per week. Registration for each team will be $35.00 for the season. Team students will have priority when registering for Fall classes. The Fall schedule will be finalized by June 1 and Registration will begin as soon as it is available.
