Information about our competitions
Aerial Elite - Virtual Only. This is a small, new competition in its second year. It might be fun to try something new and compete against. Video submissions are due September 1, Results are Posted October 7. Ages groups are fairly broad especially in the adult categories. Levels are Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced in Silks, Sling, Lyra, and Trapeze (yay) and Specialty. I might want to do some groups since it's so affordable. It would be a good time to warm up for the season or refresh last year's routines.

Aerialympics - 5 regional events September through April, each with its own virtual option. All ages and apparatuses are welcome. Trapeze is included in "open" category Levels are Novice, Intermediate, Intermediate 2, and Advanced, All-Star. Age groups are small. In addition to regional competitions, there is a local Invitational for groups and an invitation only National Final.

West Coast Aerial Arts Festival November 8-11, 2024; Anaheim CA
This festival includes competitions, lots of workshops, and a showcase of winning acts. All ages and apparatuses are available. Sling is included with "open" category. Levels are Novice, Amateur, Elite, and Professional and are based on experience. Ages groups are small for children and broaden for adults.
Pricing includes one entry, one workshop, discounts on additional workshops and entries, t-shirt, one show ticket, and a medal.

Viva Fest Dates TBD March, Las Vegas NV
Typically the festival takes place the week before St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday through Sunday. The festival includes lots of workshops and shows. Levels include Novice, Emerging Pro, Student, and Pro. All apparatuses are represented and there are also ground acts like German Wheel, Cyr, juggling, and contortion. They do have a wench, which is fun.
